Court transcripts
A court transcript is the certified written record of a court hearing. In Ontario, certified court transcripts are prepared by Authorized Court Transcriptionists. Orders are arranged directly with the ACT, including scope, turnaround, payment and delivery.

Download and complete Sections 1 through 5 of the official Ontario court transcript order form.

Send the form to RecordVerity so the request, scope, availability, anticipated cost and turnaround can be reviewed and confirmed.

For Ontario court transcripts, the required court recording and related materials are obtained through the applicable court process. Certain transcripts may be subject to access restrictions.

The final cost depends on the completed page count and the applicable turnaround rate. Expedited availability must be confirmed before the order is accepted.

RecordVerity provides remote court and legal transcription services for matters heard throughout Ontario. Your location does not need to be near RecordVerity in order to request an electronic transcript.
Questions
An Authorized Court Transcriptionist, or ACT, is authorized to prepare and certify transcripts from Ontario court recordings.
Yes. A transcript order may cover all or only part of a court proceeding. Clearly identify the portion required when making the request.
Certified Ontario court transcript fees are regulated on a per-page basis, with different rates depending on the requested turnaround. Because the final page count may not be known in advance, an estimate can be discussed using the available proceeding information.
Not necessarily. Some proceedings or materials may be subject to access restrictions or additional authorization requirements. RecordVerity can identify when another step may be required before transcription can proceed.
