RecordVerity Legal Transcription is an independent Ontario legal transcription practice. This notice explains, in general terms, how information provided to RecordVerity is handled.

Information provided to RecordVerity

Information is provided voluntarily — for example, when you contact RecordVerity by email to enquire about or request transcription work. This may include your name, contact details and basic details about the matter, such as the court location, proceeding date and approximate scope of a transcript.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to enquiries and to provide the transcription services requested, including confirming scope, scheduling work and delivering completed transcripts. Client and transcript-related information is handled for legitimate business and transcription purposes.

Confidentiality and security

Court materials and related information are treated as confidential and used only for the assignment for which they were provided. Court recordings, transcripts, exhibits and other sensitive materials should not be transmitted through unsecured website mechanisms. Please contact RecordVerity first; secure transfer instructions will be provided where applicable.

Disclosure and retention

RecordVerity does not sell client personal information. Information is not disclosed to third parties except where this is necessary to complete an assignment with your knowledge, or where disclosure is required by law.

Information relating to an assignment is retained only as long as it is needed for business, professional and legal purposes.

This is a static informational website. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, it does not set cookies, and it does not include forms that accept case material, recordings or exhibits.
